BIDs Academy

East Midlands Partnership Development and BIDs Academy

This Academy is funded by the East Midlands Regional Development Agency (emda) and is supporting nine locations with their partnership and BID development. Project managed by the National BIDs Advisory Service and developed and delivered by The Mosaic Partnership the Academy provides a unique combination of advice, training and support with access to unrivalled partnership and BIDs expertise. 

The Academy concept was pioneered by Jacquie Reilly, BIDs Director, National BIDs Advisory Service and a one year Pilot programme was funded by emda in 2007. This highly successful Pilot saw the development of 5 new BIDs in the region which will bring in an additional £5million to the region over the next 5 years.

The Academy will run from April 2009 to March 2011 and the Academy locations are:

  • Blaby
  • Coalville
  • Loughborough
  • Louth
  • Gainsborough
  • Market Harborough
  • Melton
  • Skegness
  • Wellingborough
